Leland & Gray will be represented at the District 6 Music Festival in Windsor, VT this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 5th and 6th. Singing in the high school chorus will be Bethany Burdick, Jenny Newton, Amy VanLoon and Jesse Newton and Cailyn Lee and Zoe Soule will be playing in the middle school band. The concert is on Saturday at 4 PM. Bethany Burdick has auditioned for and been accepted into the All State Chorus! Congratulations Bethany.
The seventh grade Diversity Festival will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.
The JV girls basketball team had a foul shooting fund raiser for Haiti on Thursday, 1/28. The team got pledges from fellow students, faculty and staff, parents, and employers to raise money for the Haiti relief effort. Once all pledges are collected, the team will have raised about $1300 for their efforts. Way to go JV girls!
There will be an AAU meeting next Monday evening @ 7:00 following the 7th grade girl’s basketball game in the activity room.
