	Brookline Elementary School Thursday Notes for 5/28/2009 Dear Parents, Students, Staff & Friends: Well, I think fall has returned. It sure doesn’t feel like spring!! Tomorrow, May 29^th, Grades 3-4 will be traveling to Burlington, Vt. to visit the Echo Center and take a ride on the Spirit of Ethan Allen. June 12^th-Grades K-1-2 will be going to Hannaford’s Supermarket in Brattleboro to have a tour of the store. This is a program sponsored by Hannaford’s called the “Field trip factory” and it pertains to choosing healthy foods. L&G Pops Band Concert-Friday, June 12^th-12:30 matinee and 7 pm evening show. Next Wednesday will be the last week for banking with River Valley Credit Union for this school year. We have enclosed a form for a Summer Reading Program sponsored by TDBanknorth. 10 books equals $10.00 in the student’s own bank account at TDBanknorth. 6^th grade graduation will be on June 18^th at 6:30 p.m. Important Dates to Remember: There will be a joint meeting on June 1, 2009 between Newfane and Brookline. This will take place at Newfane Elementary School. Public Information Night: June 16, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Brookline Elementary School. Special Brookline Town School District Meeting: June 23, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at Brookline Elementary School. We hope to see you all there.
